QUEZON CITY – Things are starting to heat up inside the campus as revealed by the jam-packed and emotionally-filled sixth episode of “Top Class: Rise to P-Pop Stardom”, the biggest and most interactive P-Pop talent reality competition in the Philippines.
Coming from Episode 4’s elimination, the five highest-scoring trainees from the midterm exam got to perform at the Tugatog Filipino Music Festival at the Mall of Asia Arena while the other trainees cheered on from the stands. And while everyone else was concerned about their standings in the competition, Top Class trainee Jeff was distraught with troubling news from back home. Combine this with the fact that he’ll be celebrating his birthday away from home, it’s no wonder he got so emotional amidst all the pressure. Fortunately for him, the trainees were there to cheer him up and celebrate his birthday.
To help the trainees with their vocals, they underwent classes with Top Class vocal mentor KZ Tandingan and BGYO’s vocal coach Jerwin Nicomedez. As a bonus, the trainees also got to have an amusing but uplifting session with Rap Battle Legend Loonie. But given the looming elimination coming very soon, tensions broke between two trainees, resulting in a back-and-forth argument with insulting remarks being thrown.
