Ana Jalandoni movie ‘Manipula’ selected for Japan film fest

“Manipula” – produced by and starring Ana Jalandoni – has been selected as one of the spotlight entries of the Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival 2024. The film festival will be taking place in Nagoya, Japan this May 25-26. Ana topbills the erotic thriller with Aljur Abrenica whom she has previously worked with in Ray An Dulay’s 2023 film “The Revelation.” The film – directed by Neil Tan – also co-stars Rosanna Roces, Allan Paule, Kiko Matos, Christian Vasquez, Marco Alcaraz, Mark Manicad, and Rolando Inocencio. Other Filipino films that were selected for the Japanese film festival include Adolfo Alix Jr.’s “Mananambal” and Catherine O. Camarillo’s “That Kind of Love” and “Chances Are, You and I.”
