The newest and biggest P-Pop talent search in the country, Top Class: The Rise to P-Pop Stardom, officially introduced KZ Tandingan as the competition’s vocal mentor and judge on March 28, 2022 at Cornerstone Entertainment’s studio.
Hosted by 91.5 Win Radio DJ Eva Ronda, the event was every Top Class trainee’s dream as Asia’s Soul Supreme showed just how much she could teach them. Soulfully singing Doja Cat’s ‘Woman,’ KZ brought the house down with her velvet voice and powerful stage presence.
Future Top Class Trainees are in for a fun time as the vocal coach shared how important it was to have enjoyment when learning, but don’t take the mentor for granted as she’ll make sure that her students will always be on their A-game.
As preparation is one of the things KZ values, the soul singer shared her expectations from her trainees, saying “When you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.”
Auditions for Top Class are still ongoing until April 20, 2022. The audition mechanics can be seen on the Top Class social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram – @topclassofc, Tiktok – @topclassofficial, and Kumu – @topclass. Aspirants will have to go to the Top Class kumu channel to see and accomplish all the necessary steps for the audition.
Top Class is a game-changing show created through the collaboration of Kumu, Cignal Entertainment, TV5, and Cornerstone Entertainment. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be the main host.
