Cornerstone artists bag multiple nominations from 17th PMPC Star Awards for Music; TJ Monterde leads with the most nominations

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) has recently released their official list of nominations for the 17th PMPC Star Awards for Music. Of the Cornerstone artists nominated, TJ Monterde leads the pack with a whopping ten nominations. He is followed by Asia’s Soul Supreme, KZ Tandingan, with three.

The winners will be announced on June 25, 2026, during the awards ceremony at the Teatrino Promenade in San Juan City, Metro Manila. The previous edition of the music awards was held back in October 2024.

TJ Monterde received the following nominations:

Album of the Year – “Sariling Mundo”
Male Recording Artist of the Year – “Sariling Mundo”
Concert of the Year – “Sariling Mundo” (directed by John Prats)
Male Concert Performer of the Year
Music Video of the Year – “Palagi”
Pop Album of the Year – “Sariling Mundo”
Male Pop Artist of the Year
Male Acoustic Artist of the Year
Collaboration of the Year (shared with KZ Tandingan) – “Palagi”

KZ Tandingan received the following nominations:

Female Recording Artist of the Year – “Toyo”
Female Pop Artist of the Year – “Toyo”
Collaboration of the Year (shared with TJ Monterde) – “Palagi”

Inigo Pascual received the following nominations:

Male Recording Artist of the Year - “Kahit Di Mo Ko Nakikita 2”
Male R&B Artist of the Year – “Kahit Di Mo Ko Nakikita 2”

Kyle Echarri received the following nominations:

Male R&B Artist of the Year – “Believe”
Collaboration of the Year – (shared with Illest Morena) – “Believe”
