Cornerstone Artists Perform at 7th Wish Music Awards Concert

Four Cornerstone Entertainment Artists performed at the 7th Wish Music Awards concert on February 6, 2022 (Sunday). Given the covid situation, audiences could only catch the performances via the Wish 107.5 Official YouTube Channel live streaming which started at 7pm, ending around 10pm. The event was hosted by The Woman-in-Action Gretchen Ho and Xian Lim. This Generation's Pop Princess Zephanie performed "Magpakita Ka Na" and "Pangarap Kong Pangarap Mo". Asia's Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan performed "Imposible" and "Marupok". She also accepted the "Wishclusive Collaboration of the Year" award which she won with husband TJ Monterde for their performance of "Simula".

The Hugot Queen Moira Dela Torre gave a special video performance of her award-winning hit song “Paubaya” with husband Jason Marvin. In her acceptance speech for winning the “Wish Contemporary Folk Song of the Year” award for Paubaya, Moira says: “Dine-dedicate po namin itong kantang ‘to at ang award na ”to para sa lahat ng nagpatawad, nagpalaya, at nagpaubaya”. And for her acceptance speech for being crowned as the “Wish Artist of the Year”, she gave a special thanks to all the fans and listeners who gave their endless love and support despite the challenges of the past few years.

The Philippine King of RnB Jay R also gave a virtual acceptance speech for winning the “Wishclusive Contemporary RnB Performance of the Year” award for “Hinay”. He thanked the fans and the people at Wish FM, and he also encouraged fellow artists to keep making the best music that they can make. 

Lastly, the newest P-Pop boy group in town, the Monster Rookies of P-Pop VXON performed their debut single “The Beast”.
