Coming from the successful launch of 5-member P-Pop boy group VXON (read as “vision”) and 4-member girl group G22 (read as “jee-twenty-two”) earlier this year, premiere Filipino multimedia entertainment agency Cornerstone Entertainment is making it clear that it is ready to ride the P-Pop wave once again but this time with a more “romantic” offering. In a dance cover of “Maniac” by K-Pop group Stray Kids uploaded at Cornerstone’s social media pages on the evening of December 9, the newest P-Pop boy group has been revealed – Yes My Love. Yes My Love is a 6-member P-Pop boy group composed of Brian, RZ, Niko, Jeff, Eli, and Joshua.

Of the six members of Yes My Love, four are former trainees of “Top Class: Rise to P-Pop Stardom”, the P-Pop talent reality competition co-produced by CS Studios (the division of Cornerstone Entertainment that creates and produces content for digital, film, and television) and Kumu. The former trainees are Brian, RZ, Niko, and Jeff (with Jeff being the most successful trainee as he won the competition alongside four other trainees).

Eli (better known as Eli Padilla) was previously best known as one of the Singtokers of TV5’s videoke game show “Sing Galing”. And Joshua (better known as Josh Adornado) was first discovered after reaching the Top 5 of GMA’s singing competition “The Clash” back in 2018.

Not much has been revealed yet by the group but P-Pop fans who are already familiar with how Cornerstone has developed VXON and G22 shared their excitement online, citing the great potential and promise of the latest boy group to enter the rapidly growing P-Pop scene.
