G22 releases powerful comeback single ‘Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban’ for Women’s Month

In time for the celebration of National Women’s Month, P-Pop girl group G22 (known as the Female Alphas of P-Pop) has just released an empowering anthem for women titled “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban.” The song may have been officially released only on March 7, but it has been getting exclusive airtime two weeks prior on 101.1 Yes FM and 90.7 Love Radio. The girls of G22 also first performed the song live last February 22 at the Cozy Cove in Baguio City. The music video alone (which was released on March 9) garnered a hundred thousand views in less than twenty-four hours with their Spotify numbers closely following a similar pattern.

G22 fans (known as Bullets) have been passionately raving online about the song since its drop, mainly citing its powerful and empowering message, its captivating musicality and lyricism, and its mesmerizing promotional materials featuring the girls in their most daring fits yet.

“For me, it’s not just a song, but a movement that celebrates women and honors those who fought for their voices,” G22 AJ wrote on the day of the music video’s release.

G22 Jaz described “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban” as a “fun, powerful song but incredibly meaningful.”
