Renowned actor and director John Prats is back again in the director’s chair fresh from the successful conclusion of the long-running TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. But this time, he has gotten the privilege of directing the first ever solo concert of the South Korean-American Hiphop star Jessi entitled “Zoom In Manila”. It also happens to be Mr. Prats’ first ever K-Pop concert. “Zoom In Manila” took place in the Mall of Asia Arena on September 30, 2022 (Friday) with Neuwave Events and Productions making the show possible. Also with director John Prats was director James Mayo who served as the assistant director for the show. James Mayo is best known for his film works such as “Kuya Wes” and “The Chanters”.

Jessi is best known for her chart-topping hits such as “Nunu Nana”, “Cold Blooded” and “Zoom”, the song that went viral on TikTok. Besides being a successful recording artist, she is also known to be an all-around entertainer as she also hosts her own talk show “Jessi’s Showterview” and she frequently appears in various Korean entertainment programs either as a guest or contestant.

The fact that this was also Jessi’s first concert in the Philippines, the Filipino Jebbies (the Filipino fans of Jessi) were undoubtedly given a party-like show that they will surely remember.
