KZ Tandingan Wins Multiple Awards in Awit Awards 2022

Author: Clarisse Valle November 25, 2022 Singer-songwriter and the most streamed Filipina artist, Moira Dela Torre, has joined the Republic Records Philippines and Universal Music Group (UMG) Philippines family, this November 24 (Thursday). Present during the contract signing were UMG Philippines Managing Director Enzo Valdez, UMG Southeast Asia CEO Calvin Wong, Cornerstone Entertainment President Erickson Raymundo, and Vice president Jeff Vadillo. Home to an array of an all-star roster and multi-platinum award-winning artists, Republic Records is a division of Universal Music Group Philippines - one of the country’s leading music companies and the Philippine subsidiary of the multinational music company Universal Music Group. Dela Torre joins the list of fellow chart-toppers such as Darren Espanto, Elha Nympha, Zack Tabuldo, Justin Vasquez, and other global artists within the same label including Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Conan Gray, Jessie J, Jimmy Fallon, Jonas Brothers, Lorde, The Weeknd, Drake, Florence+ The Machine, and Post Malone among others.

KZ was also nominated for the Best Regional Recording Award along with Jonathan Manalo for ‘Dodong’ and People’s Voice Favorite Female Artist award for her passion in music and artistry. Popular music channel MYX held a live show at Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill on Friday, September 23, to unveil the nominees for this year’s awards show.

Other notable names in the music industry were also able to bag multiple awards such as SB19, Leanne & Naara, Zild, and Belle Mariano.
