The second installment of the Sing Galing Back-to-Back finals has finally concluded with Mari Mar Tua of Pampanga being crowned as the Ultimate Bida-oke Star of The Kantastic Finale held on the evening of March 12, 2022. Like the Sing-lebrity edition finale exactly a week prior, the regular edition of Sing Galing also held the grand event in the historic Manila Metropolitan Theater owned by the National Commission for the Culture and Arts (NCCA). With the support and acknowledgement of the NCCA, Sing Galing also aptly commemorated March 12 as the Pambansang Araw ng Videoke.
Rock band Aegis was a special guest artist, performing with the Sing Galing cast, Sindaw Philippines Performing Arts, Team Galing, and Kantastic 6 to open the show.
As the winner, Mari Mar Tua has won the grand prize of P1 million and a brand new house and lot from Bria Homes.
The finalists, dubbed as the “Kantastic 6” are:

For the first round of singing, Cris Cerbito sang “Listen” as popularized by Beyonce, Kim Macaraig sang “Easy On Me” as popularized by Adele, Mari Mar Tua Parayao sang “Bakit Ako Mahihiya” as popularized by Didith Reyes, Kit Inciong sang “Open Arms” as popularized by Journey, Myca Capili sang “Hush Hush Hush Hush” as popularized by The Pussycat Dolls, and Jamaica Lamit sang “Sana Maulit Muli” as popularized by Gary Valenciano.
The audience members and fans, dubbed as Kaawitbahays voted for their favorite contestant via Facebook messenger, with Myca Capili and Mari Mar Tua getting the highest number of votes and advancing to the final round.
For the final round, dubbed as the Duelo-Oke Do Or Die, Myca and Mari Mar sang a playlist of “oldies but goodies”. For this round, the judges chose the winner based on a given set of criteria.
For this finale, the Sing Galing hosts, dubbed as the Singmasters, were Randy Santiago, K Brosas, and Donita Nose. The Sing Galing judges, dubbed as The Jukebosses, were Ethel Booba, Ronnie Liang, Rey Valera, and Jona.
Sing Galing will be coming back for a Season 2 on TV5.
