Filipino singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre has achieved another milestone yet again as she hit a record-breaking 8 million followers on Spotify, continuing to make history by being the most followed and most streamed Filipina artist in the said music platform.
She also set another groundbreaking milestone in her music career by garnering 1 billion streams on Spotify, and just recently, the digital music platform has released their annual #SpotifyWrapped recap, and Dela Torre steadily remains as the most followed Filipino artist, followed by Ben&Ben, Zack Tabudlo, December Avenue, Silent Sanctuary, and more. She flawlessly conquered the chart for six consecutive years, proving that she is at the top of her game.
The “hugot” hitmaker is known for her heartfelt hits such as “Tagpuan”, “Malaya”, “Ikaw at Ako”, “Tagu-taguan”, and many more. These tracks are also included in her top streamed albums “Malaya”, “Patawad” and “Halfway Point (Reimagined)”.
This year, Moira has released more hits such as “Kumpas” and “Babalik Sa’yo” from the ABS-CBN Kathniel series “2 Good 2 Be True”, “Dito Ka Lang” from the Philippine adaptation of “Flower of Evil”, and “Aking Habangbuhay” from the romantic comedy Donbelle film, “An Inconvenient Love”.
Dela Torre also shared her future plans during her contract signing with UMG Philippines. She is currently gearing up for her new global concert tour, but aside from that, she is also currently preparing to release her spring album soon. According to Moira, this new album is also her favorite, and it also speaks about hope and growth.
“It is my most vulnerable and most raw album yet, and I cannot wait for everyone to hear it,” Moira shared.
