Award-winning singer-songwriter and Most Streamed Filipina artist Moira Dela Torre has officially received the Hitmaker award at the first ever Women In Music Awards by Billboard Philippines. The awards night took place last March 22 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura in BGC, Taguig.

“A hitmaker has the ability to craft songs that deeply resonate and inspire people from all walks of life. Transforming a song from an anthem to an intimate personal soundtrack. The first Billboard Philippines’ Hitmaker Awardee is an exceptional example of relatability. Moira’s 3.47 million monthly listeners and almost 10 million streaming followers, are a testament to her ability to reach into the depths of everyone’s hearts,” said host Jolina Magdangal to introduce Moira.

As one of the most popular musical artists in the Philippines in recent times, Moira has held the title of Most Streamed Filipina Artist since 2017 – making 2023 her seventh consecutive year. She is also one of the only few Filipino artists to surpass the 1 billion Spotify streams mark.

The historic awards night was also attended by awardees such as BINI, Belle Mariano, Morissette, Ena Mori, Pilita Corrales, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Sarah Geronimo.
