With the release of their heartfelt rendition of Dionela’s hit track “Musika,” G22 – the official P-Pop girl group of Cornerstone Entertainment – has officially marked a new chapter in their musical journey. With the departure of Bianca Forro from the group (as announced on social media in an official statement from the management dated September 15, 2023), G22 is now officially a trio composed of AJ Yape, Alfea Zulueta, and Jasmine Henry.
To make the group’s transition from being a quartet to a trio more formal especially for the Bullets (the fans of G22), the “Ikaw Ang Musika: A G22 Exclusive Fan Event” was held at the Episode Bar + Kitchen in Quezon City on September 25, 2023, coinciding with the release of G22’s “Musika” online. Despite the hurdle faced by the group, they will continue to release more music while embodying the way of the female alpha.
“Musika” was originally performed and written by Dionela. The original track was also released back in September last year. Dionela and G22 are both recording artists under Republic Records Philippines (a division of UMG Philippines).
G22’s “Musika” is now available to stream on all major music streaming platforms. The official visualizer is also now available to watch on G22’s official YouTube channel.
