Comedian Pooh and TikTok superstar Queenay Mercado are part of the new TV5 sitcom entitled “Oh My Korona” top-billed by Maja Salvador. Joining alongside Pooh (who plays the character of “Gerry”) and Queenay (as “Emy”) are Joey Marquez, RK Bagatsing, Kakai Bautista, Christine Samson, Jai Agpangan, Guel Espina, Jessie Salvador, and Thou Reyes.
“Oh My Korona” revolves around “Lablab” (played by Maja), a landlady who runs a dorm occupied by young and aspiring showbiz wannabes. A talent manager by the name of Louie Galang discovers her but she refuses to join showbiz because it reminds her of her father.
The pilot episode aired on August 6, 7:30pm at TV5 but one can catch a replay on TV5’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
