After successfully setting his first solo concert in Dubai with the “Sarili Nating Mundo” world tour, TJ Monterde officially broke the record for Filipino music shows in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the highest-selling Filipino concert during launch day in Coca-cola Arena.
This milestone came after the show sold over 4,000 tickets the same day that the ticket release was launched. Moreover, the Dubai leg of TJ Monterde’s tour managed to sell out 100% of the tickets weeks before the day of the show.
Now hailed as “one of the most successful concerts ever held” in the said venue, Coca-cola Arena Management also awarded the “Sarili Nating Mundo” world tour with a Sold-Out Plaque. TJ Monterde shared a photo online, holding the award received by their UAE show, along with pictures with his wife and concert’s special guest, KZ Tandingan and premier events and concerts director John Prats, who also continues to make history through his sold-out shows.
While this proves the power of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), TJ Monterde is set to mark more milestones with more concert dates ahead in different local provinces and abroad, specifically in New Zealand and Australia.
