VXON drops ‘Dapat Lang Ako Lang’ music video after ‘Gusto Ko, Tayo Lang!’ fan event

A day after the “Gusto Ko, Tayo Lang!” exclusive fan meet, Monsters of PPOP VXON dropped the music video of their latest single, “Dapat Lang Ako Lang,” serving visual feast from fashion to set design and drawing Vixies’ attention only to them.

The group carried out a lighter concept in the music video, showcasing their fun sides, matching the upbeat and catchy melody of their song, which was released last July 4 under Cornerstone Music – Cornerstone Entertainment’s record label.

“Dapat Lang Ako Lang” music video features C13, Patrick, Franz, Vince, and Sam as cafe servers, showing off their charm while wearing their yellow-brown uniforms. At the same time, VXON highlighted their individual fashion sense, flashing their casual and denim outfits, as they danced and vibed in a cozy-looking living room and a street lined with different stores—a production designed by the 2024 PPOP Music Awards Best Production Designer, Rocket Set Design Studio.

“Isa sa highlights ng music video ‘yung pagpapalit-palit ng location while sinasayaw namin yung DLAL (Dapat Lang Ako Lang) choreo. It was fun shooting yung part na yun sa chroma and yung work that was put into editing,” C13 shared, revealing that it was their first time trying out such visual effects for a music video. “Yung mga CGI, it took a lot of time and effort para magawa ‘yun, and it’s something na di pa namin nagagawa before, so thank you, Rocket Sets, for bringing that into fruition!”

Meanwhile, the group celebrated their latest single with Vixies in the “Gusto Ko, Tayo Lang!” fan event, joining them in fun games and activities, where fans took home random exclusive photocards of members, official group photo, and other giveaways.

VXON is a 5-member P-Pop boy group managed by Cornerstone Entertainment composed of C13, Franz, Patrick, Vince, and Sam. The group debuted back in January 2022 with the release of “The Beast.”
