Showcasing various dance styles and swag as the VXON’s main dancer, Patrick has delivered remarkable performances in GMA’s “Stars on the Floor.” In the latest episode of the show, Patrick swept off the dance floor with Joshua Decena, performing a tear-jerking interpretative dance to “Pana-panahon,” which they dedicated to families with members working overseas.
“Sobrang saya at proud na nanalo kami this episode of Stars on the Floor,” VXON Patrick captioned his Facebook post through the group’s official page. He also expressed his gratitude to Joshua and Coach Angel, who were significant in forming and executing the choreography with him. The group’s main dancer also thanked Vixies for their support, looking forward to his upcoming performances on the show. “More to come—let’s keep shining together!”
Meanwhile, Patrick sees his journey in “Stars on the Floor” as an opportunity to grow beyond just improving his craft, but also learning from the experiences of the people he works with now, and even competes against. “Hindi lang pakikipaglaban ng sayaw ang pwedeng gawin dito sa ‘Stars on the Floor’ e, dahil matututuhan mo rin dito kung paano mo mae-express ‘yung sarili mo at makinig sa mga experiences nila,” VXON Patrick shared.
The group’s main dancer also revealed that the cast grew closer backstage through the weeks of competition. “Kung sa harap ng camera, naglalaban-laban kami, off cam, kung alam n’yo lang kung gaano kami ka-close at kung paano kami mag-bonding, na parang sobrang tagal na talaga namin magkakakilala,” Patrick narrated, sharing how they have become comfortable with each other. “Pinaka-favorite ko talagang part dito sa show ay ‘yung nakaka-build kami ng family and friends. Sobrang saya kasi sa feeling na lumalaki ‘yung circle n’yo, like ang dami kong natututuhan sa kanila,” he added
After his win in the latest episode of “Stars on the Floor,” Patrick is now excited to showcase more of his swag and groove. “Marami akong ginawa dito na never kong na-imagine na magagawa ko,” he shared. He also teased fans on what to look forward to in his upcoming performances in the show. “Matatawa kayo, mai-in love, maaangasan, maiiyak, at magugulat kayo,” Patrick expressed. He also revealed exploring other dance genres for the first time in the show, and promised fans a good competition. “Very challenging talaga [ang laban]. Pero s’yempre, lalaban tayo! Mananalo tayo rito!”
